DESCRIPTION:The Only Thing to Fear is Fear Itself: Anxiety’s Web\n\nThis presentation will include the topics of:\n– Anxiety\, guilt\, and shame being used as defence mechanisms\n– The ‘emotional web’ and how to respect our emotional selves\n– The relationship between the fast paced and high performance oriented world we live in\, and where anxiety manifests.\n\nMichael Quigley is a 21 year old who has lived in London Ontario for most of his life. He was a competitive swimmer for 15 years and has never stopped finding new creative avenues to explore. Having dealt with anxiety and depression for many years as an athlete and student\, he has developed many theories\, strategies\, and revelations about the root causes and solutions to many of the feelings produced by these mind states. Michael will be starting the Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe come September\, as music has always been a passion.
