‘Connect to Calm with Qigong’
Connect to Calm with Qigong is an invitation to discover how an ancient healing
practice can support aging with strength, vitality, and ease.
Qigong is a gentle yet powerful mind-body practice that has been used for
thousands of years to cultivate energy (Qi), enhance longevity, and promote
balance in the body, mind, and spirit. In this session, you’ll learn a brief history of
Qigong and how it supports graceful aging by strengthening physical health,
calming the nervous system, sharpening mental clarity, and nourishing emotional
and spiritual well-being.
Calmness, especially in today’s fast-paced world, is a true superpower — and
Qigong teaches us how to access it from within. The best way to understand the
power of Qigong is to experience it.
We’ll end with a guided experiential practice, including Energy Breathing and
gentle Spring Forest Qigong movement meditation, allowing you to feel the
effects firsthand, followed by a short Q&A.
As we gather during the Chinese New Year, this session offers a meaningful
opportunity to pause, reset, and set fresh intentions — welcoming new beginnings
with renewed life energy to support the year ahead.

Munira Jiwa is a certified Spring Forest Qigong Master Teacher and wellness guide with over 20 years of personal Qigong practice. She brings together her background as a Physical Therapist with the wisdom of Qigong to support people in aging with strength, calm, and vitality. Through gentle movement, breathwork, and mindful awareness, Munira helps individuals cultivate balance across the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of life. She is known for her grounded, compassionate teaching style and her ability to make ancient healing practices practical, safe, and deeply nourishing for modern living.
